For as long as I can remember, I have had a knack for helping others with their organization and design dilemmas. From assisting my first-grade teacher in organizing her classroom to working with the constraints of a 200 square foot Manhattan apartment, organization and design have always played an integral role in my life. Even as young as six years old, I was exhibiting a gift for the chores that most children loathed - while other kids were playing with G.I. Joe, I was voluntarily (and alphabetically) organizing my parentsí VHS tapes and rearranging the furniture in our home.
Despite always being the go-to guy (and kid) whenever someone needed an orderly solution or style advice, it wasn't until after college that I discovered this "knack" was in fact a deep and inspiring passion to genuinely help others learn how to live more efficiently and help make their house a home.
In 2008, I formalized my long-time passion for creating order out of chaos and established my very own organization and design business, Organizational Concepts Designed 4 Life (also known as ocd4life). After spending several years working with clients and evolving my mission I felt a need to refine (and redefine) my focus under my namesake, Jeffrey Phillip, in order to set a new standard of organization and design for the home.
Today, I continue to share my passion by working with clients to provide custom solutions to match their lifestyles and transform their homes into thoughtfully organized, stylish and welcoming spaces. I'm also grateful to have shared my creative eye and organizational talents beyond my clients through segments on Good Morning America and The Dr. Oz Show, as a regular guest on Katie Couric's talk show, Katie, and in the pages of O magazine, InStyle, Real Simple, The New York Times and with my column, 'Ask Jeffrey,' in Good Housekeeping (among others).
Whether I'm working one-on-one with a client or sharing my tips and ideas through writing, speaking, partnerships, collaborations and appearances, my mission remains the same - to help others learn how to live a more simple, organized and beautiful life. The joy in this work truly comes from the experiences I have with clients as well as seeing and hearing about the changes you are making in your life.
