The Transformation

A walk-in closet that was too dark and too full, and a rolling rack permanently set up in the guest bedroom to act as an extension of the master closet – my client had reached her limit. After seeing one of my appearances on Katie Couric’s talk show ‘Katie,’ she felt inspired and emailed me to give her wardrobe a full overhaul.

After editing and eliminating the old pieces she no longer wore or cared for, we installed a new light fixture to brighten the space and ordered matching hangers to visually tie the space together. Everything my client kept was then put back and thoughtfully organized so that it would be easier for her to “shop her closet” on a regular basis. By the time we finished, my client was in love with her “new” closet. In an email she said: “I can’t stop going into my closet and looking again and again – it’s such a huge difference and looks beautiful! Before we went to bed my husband even said, ‘Let’s go look at your closet again!’”
